Chris Papalia joined the faculty at St. Andrew’s College in 2012. At SAC, he regularly teaches the AP-Statistics and AP-Research courses and is the Head of Memorial House. Chris is also the administrator of SAC’s Summer School program. He has coached Varsity Baseball, Varsity Hockey, and Varsity Squash, co-facilitated the Social Justice Council, and runs the R for Data Visualization Club and Chess Club. Chris has presented three different talks at the Ontario Association of Mathematics Educators (OAME) annual conference and has guest lectured at the University of Toronto in the Preservice Teacher Education program.
Chris is a graduate of Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, where he majored in physics and was a four-year letter-winner in baseball for the Scots. In addition to his teaching, he is a Baseball Ontario learning facilitator and coach evaluator and represented Ontario as a coach at the Canada Cup and the Canada Summer Games. Chris stays active by playing golf and squash and is privileged to live on the beautiful SAC campus.
